Shop At Noble Knight Games…Use The Banner Link

July 27, 2007 By: John Taber Category: Games, Site Recommendations

This is a blatant pitch…but it is for a good reason. 😉

If you want to buy gaming products online go to Noble Knight Games using the banner on this site. If this link is used a tiny portion of the sale goes to the continued maintenance of this site. So…not only are you supporting this site but you are getting great deals and great customer support.

For example…

Recently I noticed that a single Fudge die in a set of 20 was flawed. I bought the dice set almost a YEAR ago from Noble Knight. Not only did they offer to replace it but they contacted the vendor of the dice set and had them contact me directly. This is the kind of thing that makes customers for life. Great stuff. Support these folks with your dollars.

Terra Incognita Site

July 27, 2007 By: John Taber Category: Games, Site Recommendations

Every now and then you find a site that has a treasure trove of information for your campaign. Well…the Terra Incognita site is one of these gold piles.

The first you find when going to the site is the Daily Dispatch page. This page has up to the minutes sites that can be used to enhance your Victorian or Pulp game. The webmaster and author of the game, Scott Larson, does the updates himself and they are frequent. He updates this page almost DAILY with new gems. This alone is worth visiting the site.

Other pages of note are the Resources, Library, and Link tabs. There is a TON of information on media resources that can be used to enhance your gaming life. Material is very detailed and extremely well organized. In fact a couple of weeks ago Scott sorted all of the links into smaller pages. The change really improved the functionality of the site.

The last stellar thing about the site is the responsiveness of Scott Larson. I’ve sent him ideas for dispatches, problems I found with the site, etc and I get responses within minutes. Just awesome.

Go visit already! 🙂
