Terra Incognita: Ancient Mysteries Campaign Doc Posted

August 10, 2007 By: John Taber Category: Games, TIAM News

I just added the campaign document for my new Terra Incognita campaign. I have also updated the site for the campaign with the key information about the campaign. To go to the site click on the link in the left hand sidebar. Here is a sample of the Introduction that explains what the campaign is about…

Terra Incognita: Ancient Mysteries (TI:AM or TIAM) is a mystery solving and monster hunting campaign set in the Victorian era. Adventures will range from wild swinging on the chandelier romps to grisly monster hunts. If you imagine a stew of low-tech pulp, Indiana Jones, and Cthulhu you have an idea of what I am brewing.

The game will be run using the Terra Incognita (TI) book from Grey Ghost Press. Terra Incognita is based on the Fudge role-playing system. Fudge is fast, flexible, and light. I think it is a great choice for the type of campaign that I want to run. Another nice thing about using Fudge is that it is free. See the Data Handling section on where you can get a copy. That said you will need a copy of the Terra Incognita book to create your character as you will need to look at the skill set which is defined.

I am using a couple of house rules that might be interesting for existing Fudge players. The main one involves adding a meta game element similar to Fan Mail in Primetime Adventures. 😉 You can download a copy of the campaign document by heading over the the File Downloads section of this site.
