W A R S\u00c2&nbsp;\u00c2&nbsp;\u00c2&nbsp; 2\u00c2&nbsp; !!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I ran each blade through a not very scientific test using my face each morning.\u00c2&nbsp; I ran each blade for four shaves (aka 4 days).\u00c2&nbsp; After the first shave and the last shave I took down some brief notes.\u00c2&nbsp; Blades will be rated on a scale of 1 Poor to 5 Great.\u00c2&nbsp; For many of the blades I ran them again and updated my notes.\u00c2&nbsp; On some I adjusted the score up or down slightly.\u00c2&nbsp; Finally at the very end I ran the blade that won in the <a href=\"https:\/\/usandacat.com\/thelair\/2018\/double-edged-razor-blade-review\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">last Blade Wars<\/a> and compared it to these blades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I used a Rex Envoy Closed Comb Safety Razor and two different shaving creams over the course of the testing.\u00c2&nbsp; I started with &#8220;Omega Crema da barba&#8221; then moved to &#8220;Jermyn Street Collection &#8211; Shaving Cream For Sensitive Skin&#8221; near the end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These are presetned in order of star rating:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1 Star<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Wilkinson Sword<\/strong> &#8211; Blades came in a fancy plastic box.\u00c2&nbsp; Individual blades are wrapped in wax paper.\u00c2&nbsp; The first shave was rough and the blade felt like it was cutting my skin.\u00c2&nbsp; Got nicked on the second shave and still felt sharp.\u00c2&nbsp; I nearly dropped this one on day 2.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2 Star<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Derby Extra<\/strong> &#8211; Blades came in a plastic box.\u00c2&nbsp; Each blade is wrapped in wax paper.\u00c2&nbsp; The first shave the blade cut in a bad way.\u00c2&nbsp; The 3rd day the shave did not feels close.\u00c2&nbsp; I was cut on the last day.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Gillette Nacet<\/strong> &#8211; Paper box with easy opening end.\u00c2&nbsp; Individual blades are wax paper wrapped and one stuck badly.\u00c2&nbsp; Scratched me on the first shave.\u00c2&nbsp; Was dull on the last shave.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3 Star<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Astra Superior Platinum<\/strong> &#8211; Paper box with easy opening end.\u00c2&nbsp; Individual blades are wax paper wrapped and one stuck badly.\u00c2&nbsp; The first shaved pulled over my face in a bad way.\u00c2&nbsp; Once it got going it worked better.\u00c2&nbsp; Got nicked on the last shave.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Feather New Hi-Stainless<\/strong> &#8211; Blades come in a plastic box.\u00c2&nbsp; Each blade is wrapped in wax paper that did not stick.\u00c2&nbsp; The first shave was rough.\u00c2&nbsp; It did not feel close after finishing.\u00c2&nbsp; On the 3rd day is was sharp and I cut myself.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Kai Stainless Steel Double-Edged Blade<\/strong> &#8211; Blades come in a paper package with no easy opening end.\u00c2&nbsp; Each blade is wrapped in paper that is not waxed.\u00c2&nbsp; The first shave grabbed a bit then got smoother.\u00c2&nbsp; Worked well on the thin hairs.\u00c2&nbsp; On the last shave it cut a bit.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Personna Platinum<\/strong> &#8211; Blades came in a paper box that did not have an easy opening end.\u00c2&nbsp; Each blade is wrapped in wax that did not stick for me.\u00c2&nbsp; Great first shave!\u00c2&nbsp; Second was close as well.\u00c2&nbsp; The last shave felt rough and dull.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4 Star<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Voskhod Bocxod<\/strong> &#8211; Paper box with easy opening end.\u00c2&nbsp; Individual blades are wrapped in normal paper.\u00c2&nbsp; The first shave was smooth and nice.\u00c2&nbsp; On the 3rd day the blade felt sharp in a bad way.\u00c2&nbsp; Got nicked but shave was still pretty close.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5 Star<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Gillette 7&#8217;Oclock<\/strong> &#8211; Paper box with easy opening end.\u00c2&nbsp; Individual blades are nicely wrapped in wax.\u00c2&nbsp; This is the blade that won Blade Wars 1.\u00c2&nbsp; The first shave was amazing!\u00c2&nbsp; Soothe and close.\u00c2&nbsp; Day 4 the blade still shaved close and neat.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Gillette Silver Blue<\/strong> &#8211; Paper box with easy opening end.\u00c2&nbsp; Individual blades are paper and wax wrapped.\u00c2&nbsp; They are wrapped in a way they makes them nice to open.\u00c2&nbsp; Nice first shave!\u00c2&nbsp; Pulled a bit but clean.\u00c2&nbsp; Really smooth second day and strong finish.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The winner of Blade Wars 2 is the winner of Blade Wars 1&#8230;the <strong>Gillette 7&#8217;Oclock<\/strong>.\u00c2&nbsp;
